Porter County Council
As an elected official my mission is and will always be to represent my constituents to the best of my ability.
I look to not just bring a Voice to the 2nd District, but a Voice of Reason. I will be someone who will build bridges and not walls as we search for solutions to the challenges we face today as well as tomorrow.
The Porter County Council’s 2nd District is in need of a visible council member with new ideas and alternative solutions to a growing county in a changing economy. The 2nd District needs true representation; someone who will stand up and be a vocal advocate for the important issues facing Portage Township, Porter County, and the Region as a whole.
Government should not be afraid to utilize all of its tools in an attempt to provide meaningful employment to residents who seek to provide for their families and/or themselves. Education is one of the most important tools that should be used to help provide opportunities in the 2nd District. As we foster Economic Development and provide Higher Education and Job Training opportunities, we must make certain that growth never jeopardizes or interferes with public safety. While building a safer and more prosperous future in the 2nd, we must work diligently to make certain that we do not put unwarranted restraints on working families, property owners, and businesses in our communities.
With my leadership I will work to provide the greatest opportunities available to the citizens of the 2nd District.

I will work to help create a business friendly environment in order to help attract sustainable and living wage jobs.
Taxes
I will fight to keep taxes low and cut unnecessary spending.
Education
I believe that a Downtown Higher Learning Center in Portage is important to the growth of Portage Township and it’s workforce.
Public Safety
I have and will continue to ensure that we have the best trained, staffed, and equipped public servants.
